Why we fasted

As the new church year began, the leadership called the whole church to seven days of prayer and fasting for our families, our campus ministry and the peace of the North West.

What the week looked like

  • Morning watch at 5:30am in the sanctuary
  • Midday break for personal prayer and Bible reading
  • Evening fellowship to share testimonies and break the fast together
  • Friday vigil that ran until sunrise

"Prayer does not prepare us for the greater work; prayer is the greater work." — Pastor Ernest Ndamsa

Three lessons

  1. God meets us when we come together in one accord.
  2. Hunger for food reminded us of a deeper hunger for His Word.
  3. Testimonies grow faith — keep sharing them.

Thank you to everyone who took part. Let us keep praying.
