Ushering & Hospitality Ministry

Every guest is welcome

The Ushering & Hospitality Ministry is often the first face people meet at Bambili Baptist Church. We make sure every member and visitor feels welcome, finds a seat and can worship without distraction.

What we do

• Welcome at the door: greeting people and helping first-time visitors find their way
• Seating and order: guiding seating, keeping aisles clear and maintaining reverence during service
• Offering and attendance: coordinating the collection of offerings and helping record attendance
• Visitor follow-up: collecting visitors' details so the church can follow up during the week
• Hospitality: receiving guest preachers and serving at church events and receptions

Who can join

Members who are warm, punctual and ready to serve. We train new ushers and work on a rota so no one serves every Sunday.

Get involved

Speak to the head usher after any service to join the rota.

"Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it." (Hebrews 13:2)
