Welfare & Benevolence Ministry
Cares for widows, orphans, the sick and displaced families through visits, gifts and practical support.
Faith that cares
The Welfare & Benevolence Ministry shows the love of Christ in practical ways. We follow the Cameroon Baptist Convention's call to proclaim the Gospel holistically, caring for the whole person, body and soul.
What we do
- Widows and orphans: regular visits, food items and school support for children in need
- Sick and bereaved: hospital and home visits, prayer, and support for grieving families
- Displaced families: helping those affected by the crisis in the North West Region with food, clothing and basic needs
- Emergency help: a benevolence fund for members facing sudden hardship
- Community outreach: donation drives and service projects in Bambili
Who can join
Any member with a compassionate heart. You can serve by visiting, giving, organising donations or praying.
Get involved
Give to the benevolence fund, bring items for the next donation drive, or tell us about someone in need.
"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress." (James 1:27)
